Teddie Kate had her last litter of puppies this week — a group of 12 F1b bernedoodles! They are beautiful and healthy! While we are exhausted, we are also elated to welcome these gorgeous babies!
It took us some time to come up with a theme name for this litter, but ultimately with another litter of 12, I had to do a nod to our family’s faith. “The Chosen” is one of my favorite TV series of all time — a Christian historical drama focused on the 12 “chosen” disciples of Jesus Christ. I wanted to do this theme, but with so many females in this litter, and the Jesus’s 12 disciples being almost all male, I changed it up a bit. Instead of the disciples’ names, I named the little girls after the “chosen” females in the lineage of Christ, and the males after the “chosen” 4 gospel writers (some of which overlap with the show’s cast anyway).
So here they are… help me welcome THE CHOSEN.
