“Days of the Week” Litter: 7 Week Update

Next week these pups turn 8 weeks old and head off to their forever homes! I can’t even believe it. Their personalities are starting to more consistently shine through and it’s so fun to see who is who within the pack.

This is a bittersweet time for me. I love these pups so much, however I never expected to love matching families with their furry family members as much as I do.

This is one of my favorite parts of what I do … watching families faces light up and their hearts melt as they finally meet the puppy that will be their’s. The feeling of watching THEIR joy isn’t what I expected to be one of the best parts of raising puppies.

It is. I’m so stinking excited for the weekend to come to see who goes where!

Curriculum & Care: We have been going outside in the grass, driveway, and on my patio daily — weather permitting. So far they’ve explored and experienced lots of things…. some of them including: car rides, ball pits, tunnels, patios, on and off of furniture, all kinds of different flooring and ground (grass, concrete, dirt, gravel, etc.), passing traffic, neutral dogs, cats, and people — both young, middle aged, and old — and so much more!

Attention Future Families!

Evaluations will happen this weekend! You’ll receive an email with the links to the evaluation videos and scorecards (AS SOON AS they’re done, promise!) to review before your puppy pick. Evaluations can take several hours, and I may have to post-pone a pup to the following day if they aren’t cooperating. Fingers crossed it goes quickly!

I will contact the first family on the reservation list once everything has been sent out. Once your puppy is picked, payment is due, and a contract will be emailed over to sign.

Then I will contact the next family… and so on. 🙂
