Temperament Trait Notes
In addition to traits that I examine during puppy evaluations (see next section below), there are a number of additional characteristics that puppies exhibit. During their sixth week of life, I start making note of these to help build a more complete picture about the puppy. This information can help you guide us as we choose between puppies for your family.
This table below has some of these traits I’ve noticed on each puppy starting at 6 weeks of age. I’ve also included some explanation on each.
Just because a trait is not checked, doesn’t mean the puppy doesn’t possess that trait. These are simply things I’ve noticed over the past week and a half as we’ve gone about our days. I may have missed some in a puppy. But this info can be helpful to you as you make your puppy pick.
