A non-refundable reservation fee of $500 is due after application approval to put you on the reservation list, and will be deducted from the total amount of the puppy.

Travel
Families are expected to pick up their puppy in the Memphis, TN area, with travel and accommodations at the expense of the buyer.
If you are flying to pick up your puppy, please book your flights into MEM (Memphis International Airport).
Consideration will be taken to some special circumstances and a flight nanny or driving to meet the new puppy family (within 250 miles of Memphis) could be an option for an additional fee. We will stay in contact with families after puppy reservation fee is made regarding these options. Travel pricing will *most likely* range from $250-700, depending on mileage and/or flight costs.
Curriculum & Care
*Starting in 2022, we will no longer remove front declaws from our puppies. All poodle puppies tails will be left natural, as well — no docking of tails.
Your puppy will join your family loved and spoiled. They are a part of our family before joining yours.
Your puppy will be raised in its first 8 weeks using the BAB curriculum, a complete program proven to greatly improve outcomes for puppies as they grow! From early neurological stimulation, to nerve strength and confidence building, to crate training, we use it in the first 8 weeks of life.
All puppies will go through an evaluation at 50-53 days of age to gauge personality traits to help families make informed decisions on which puppy is best for them.
**Please Note** Potty, obedience, or any other type of training is not included, however your puppy will have been introduced to a crate and in the very beginning stages of potty training.
We are confident in our healthy and happy puppies. All of our puppies come with a 2-year genetic health guarantee from date of birth.
How to purchase
Is a snuggly, fluffy Bernedoodle or poodle puppy the right fit for you? Read the following steps to take to ensure your puppy placement.
1 – Apply Online
Help us get to know you by filling out the puppy application. Completion of the application does not guarantee that you will be approved or commit you to purchasing a puppy yet. This is first step and our way to get to know you and start the conversation by telling us about yourself and what you have in mind for your future puppy.
2 – Receive Approval
Wait to hear back from us via email about your application status. We typically respond within 3-5 business days, after we call references and process your application. (Yes, we really do call!) However, when we have puppies on the ground, there is usually an influx of applications, so that can cause an additional day or so delay.
We’ll respond with your approval or refusal. We reserve the right to deny anyone at any time if we feel that they’re not the right fit for one of our puppies.
3 – Submit Reservation Fee
You will be contacted with a link to secure your reservation fee. Currently, we will only take reservation fees for the number of puppies currently available and 1-2 litters in advance.
At payment time, you must confirm whether you would like to be on the bernedoodle reservation list or the poodle reservation list. One reservation fee is required per dog you plan to purchase.
Puppies cannot be held until a NONREFUNDABLE $500 reservation fee is paid! Payments may be made via cash or CashApp. Credit card, PayPal, or Venmo are also accepted for an additional 3-5% fee (if “friends/family” option isn’t used). *Should you choose to forfeit your reservation fee at any time, you will be removed from the list.
Important note: Puppies are picked on a first-come, first-served basis dependent on when your reservation fee is paid. When you submit your reservation fee payment, you will be added to the bottom of the Puppy Pick list. (So the sooner you send in your reservation fee, the better in order to get higher on the list.) Your reservation fee will go towards the final puppy price. We reserve the right to first one to two picks of every litter.

If you have been approved and submitted your reservation fee, congratulations! Now the hard part …
4 – Wait
We wait for your future puppy to reach 7 weeks of age to do puppy temperament evaluations. Unfortunately, we cannot always accurately predict gender ratio, color/markings, and coat types available until the puppies are born, so this is also a waiting game.
Every family on the paid reservation list will be allowed access to the private SoFun Families “Go-Home” page, where preparations to-dos, shopping lists, payment options, and puppy evaluation information will be available.
5 – Pick Your Puppy
After evaluations, each family will be contacted in order of reservation fees paid to select their puppy when they are 7 weeks of age. We can help each family choose which puppy they’d like to join their family by either via FaceTime, text, or phone calls!
Each family who has paid their reservation fee will be contacted several times throughout the first several weeks of a new litters’ life with updated photos, videos, and puppy updates.
IMPORTANT: Puppies will go through an evaluation 7 weeks after birth (around 50-53 days of age) on personality traits to help families make informed decisions on which puppy is best for their family. Picks will NOT be allowed until after the puppy evaluation has been completed for each dog at 7 weeks old.
6 – Pay for your Puppy
Final payment is due no later than 7 weeks of age at the time of puppy picks, 1 week before the puppy goes home.
Families will be emailed at this time with an invoice and contract and options to pay.
We accept cash (cash preferred if local!), CashApp, Venmo*, or PayPal* or credit card* if absolutely necessary. (*All online transactions will have a 3% fee added to the total amount.)
Checks are not accepted.
7 – Pick Up your Puppy
Puppies will not be released until full payment has been made and cleared.
All puppies must be picked up within 1-2 days of their 8 week birthday. We will set appointment times for you to get your puppy.
A dog-sitting fee of $25/day will be charged if family is unable to pick up their puppy in the allotted time period. Families are responsible for their own travel and accommodations to pick-up their puppy and return home.

ADDITIONAL FAQs
How long until I can bring home a puppy?
Our best guess is 7-12 months from the time you apply. By the time our dogs are born or reach 2 weeks of age, all puppies are usually spoken for.
However, we have had families pass on a puppy from the litter they were committed to and wait for the next due to timing, family needs, work, travel, etc.

Can I visit your puppies?
Unfortunately, we do not allow outside visitors to meet our puppies for the safety of our dogs and in consideration of our neighbors. Our puppies live in our home with us and we don’t even allow our closest friends and family to visit while a litter is on the ground, especially in the first couple weeks of life.
I really want a certain color dog or a specific gender… Can that happen?
Maybe. As stated above, we do not sell based on color or gender … temperament only. Even for those requesting breeding rights with poodles.
Of course, when it comes times for puppy picks and your favorite gender or color is available, then your preference may work out.
Usually our families who are wanting a specific gender or color end up changing their minds completely based on temperament testing. The best dog for them wasn’t their original preference. This could very well be the case for you.
DO YOU SELL BREEDING RIGHTS?
Our bernedoodles are sold to pet homes only, no breeding rights available.
AKC registered poodles can be purchased with full AKC breeding rights to approved breeders only. Keep reading for more information…
All poodles will initially receive AKC papers with limited registration until dogs have reached sexual maturity and proof of health testing has been done and submitted to us. Only then can we release AKC breeding registration rights to new owners. Breeders will pay in advance (at time of purchase) for the released breeding rights that come upon proof of health testing.
Proof of the following required health testing must be submitted before for AKC breeding rights will be released:
- Full breed disease panel done via PawPrints Genetics or Embark.
- Passing scores via PennHip (6 months or older) or OFA Hips (prelims at 1 yr old or official OFA at 2 yrs old)
Proof of health-testing must be provided to us before we will release AKC breeding rights. If you will not, cannot, or are unable to provide proof of FULL health testing of your breeding dog, we are not the breeder for you.

- You have read our contract and can agree to the terms.
- Upon approval you are ready, willing, and able to place a $500 reservation fee, plus several thousand dollar final payment.
- You understand a puppy is a life-long commitment.
